Sumi Ink Gesture

Calligraphy is an art form that captures the essence of the moment. Each piece is created with intense focus and precision, based on a carefully conceived image. The artist’s philosophy, intellect, and technique flow seamlessly from the mind, through the body, and onto the paper, transforming into art in an instant. In this workshop, participants are invited to capture the essence of the moment, observe a model’s pose and express their movement, shape, volume, and energy through sumi ink.
