SPUN IN THE SAND: An Exhibition of Haitian Art
Tue 12/30 & Wed 12/31 6-10pm

Blue Door Art Center and Gallery is hosting a special POP UP EXHIBIT of
Haitian Art, brought to us by Artists of Jacmel, Haiti. In collaboration
with internationally acclaimed
Arts Organziation, Indy Convergence, we are opening the Gallery Doors to
the community for TWO NIGHTS ONLY!!!

“The Indy Convergence is a non-profit Indianapolis arts organization
dedicated to the growth of artists nationally and locally. Once a year The
Indy Convergence brings together a group of professional artists from
around the country to collaborate on cross-disciplinary projects. We seek
out professional artists with a passion for exploration and a unique talent
or approach that will contribute to the ensemble. Participants also have
the opportunity to focus on their own genre specific works and are required
to teach a workshop that is open and free to the community. The goal of the
Indy Convergence is for working artists of various disciplines to gather,
collaborate, learn, share, and teach.”  indyconvergence.org

Come celebrate with us the richness of Haitian Culture, with beautiful
artwork and a presentation of the Indy Covergence and the Sakalakawel
Community Arts Center build in Haiti. Enjoy music and refreshments, we hope
to see you there!
