Spring Smorgasbord: The Hoff-Barthelson Music School Faculty in Concert
An evening of original compositions, chamber music, works for two pianos and little known works for piccolo performed by the stellar Hoff-Barthelson Faculty

The 2017-18 Faculty Concert Series concludes with a “Spring Smorgasbord” on Friday, April 20, 2018, at 7:30 pm. Members of Hoff-Barthelson Music School’s Faculty come together to perform original compositions, works for two pianos and little known works for piccolo in the School’s Behrens Bergman Auditorium, 25 School Lane, Scarsdale.

Audience members will be treated to performances by Elena Belli, piano; Donna Elaine, piccolo; Jacob Friedman, piano/composer; April Johnson, violin; Chi-Chi Lin Bestmann, viola; Peter Seidenberg, cello; Delana Thomsen, piano; and Tomoko Uchino, piano.

Included on the program will be performances of Percy Grainger’s arrangement of a Fantasy of George Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess for Two Pianos, Four Hands; Mike Mower’s Sonata for Piano and Piccolo; the original compositions of Jacob Friedman; and a dip into England for Frank Bridge’s Phantasy Piano Quartet.

Admission to the concert is $20, $15 for seniors (65+) and free of charge for students. Tickets can be reserved by calling 914-723-1169, or e-mailing hb@hbms.org.
