SOUNDS OF SPRING: A Mother’s Day Concert with Champagne Reception

The internationally-acclaimed chamber ensemble, REBEL will offer an effervescent program of baroque chamber music as a tribute to Mother’s Day and Spring with music by Telemann, Vivaldi, (featuring the beloved concerto, ‘SPRING’ from the Four Seasons), van Eyck, Schwartzkopff & Schmelzer performed on period instruments at the historic and acoustically-excellent Bedford Presbyterian Church in Bedford, NY. The instrumentalists in this program will be the incomparable Canadian duo of Matthias Maute and Sophie Larivière, flutes and recorders; Jörg-Michael Schwarz, Karen Marie Marmer and Peter Kupfer violins; Dan McCarthy, viola, John Moran, cello, Motomi Igarashi, bass & violone and Dongsok Shin, harpsichord. A fully-catered, reception with a special Mother’s Day champagne toast follows the concert, where audience can mingle with the artists. Not to be missed!
