Sonorous Images: Copland’s Chamber Music
Chamber music masterworks, including the Sextext and Piano Quartet.
The concert is the musical component of a Copland Film Festival at the Burns. The program explores the intimate side of Aaron Copland’s work, and features two of his landmark chamber works, the ebullient Sextet of 1933, and the rich, introspective Quartet for Piano and Strings of 1950.
