About the Instructor:
Farah Marie Velten is an interdisciplinary artist based in New York City. Her work has drawn inspiration from her original home of California, her international and domestic chapters, and her current home of NY.
Often focusing on alternative analogue photographic processes, she explores our relationship to the natural world as human beings, confronting blurred boundaries between the internal and external world, considering both time and space as forces to navigate in both her physical and performative work, teachings, and support to multiple arts institutions. More information on our visiting teaching artist can be found on her website at farahmarievelten.com .
