Sherezade Panthaki, soprano; with The Helicon Ensemble

First introduced to Caramoor audiences in 2018’s Atalanta, soprano Sherezade Panthaki is an acknowledged star in the early-music world. With a lush and commanding voice, she remains “wonderfully agile, riding her rapid vibrato up and down passagework and trills with admirable fluency” (The Wall Street Journal). In this program featuring both instrumental and vocal pieces, Panthaki is joined by the Helicon ensemble. Recognized by The New York Times as “an important early music organization,” Helicon seeks to explore period chamber music at a high level.
