Shelter-in-Place, Shelter-in Poetry with Denise Duhamel
Join popular and sought-after teacher, Denise Duhamel, as she returns to HVWC, an institution that has been important to her for the past thirty years. In this generative workshop, we will explore how gratitude, rants, big statements and small, exact details can lead us to new poems and seedlings for poems. We will work via prompts that oblige us to pay attention to precision. Participants should be open to the explosive, cathartic, heartbreaking and sometimes even hilarious effects of poetry.
Registration for this 2hr intensive course is $99 and can be reserved at the link below. The course will be taught online via Zoom. Registrants will receive login information with their class registration receipt.
