Bad Faces
Bad Faces is a musical trio from Brooklyn, NY.
Calling Bad Faces a rock ‘n’ roll band would not be false, however this would only be part of the story. Not quite a social movement (yet), Bad Faces is a vehicle for fun, freedom and a uniquely American sense of unhinged creativity.
Think of a tree – No, think of three trees intertwined; Merging, growing upwards and outwards together to form a beautiful megaflora. One tree is Elvis Presley, the next is Leadbelly, the final is Jerry Garcia. Now think of a snowflake that lands on the fusion tree. As it melts, it absorbs nutrients from the leaves of all three. It hits the ground and gets absorbed right back through the roots and into the ecosystem. Soon a new leaf sprouts atop, yearning for sunlight, full of color. That leaf, so clearly influenced by history, yet so fresh, so new, so distinct;
That leaf my friend, is Bad Faces.
