Seamus Scanlon presents The Long Wet Grass, a one-act play on “The Troubles” in Northern Ireland

The award-winning play, The Long Wet Grass, by Seamus Scanlon, Librarian at City College’s Center for Worker Education will come to HVWC for one day only. Paul Nugent and Anna Nugent will reprise their roles. Afterwards, there will be a panel discussion on violence in Northern Ireland and elsewhere. The Long Wet Grass is part of The McGowan Trilogy which won awards for Best Actress, Best Director and Best Production in the annual Origin’s 1st Irish Festival of New Plays in New York in 2014.
