Screening, Tampopo (タンポポ) (1985)

Goro, a truck driver, and his sidekick Gun stop at a roadside ramen shop where they decide to help Tampopo improve the quality of her ramen and better her emerging business.

Prior to the screening, guest speaker Dr. Joel Neville Anderson, Professor of Cinema Studies and Film at Purchase College, SUNY, will present an historical introduction and lead a post-screening discussion. Snacks and beverages will be served free-of-charge, but donations are highly encouraged.
