Science Seminar Series—Dock to Dish: the future of sustainable seafood

As human populations continue to boom on planet earth, wild seafood supplies are being rapidly depleted. The Dock to Dish movement was initiated in order to create an entirely new model and system for coming generations to begin a restorative relationship with the oceans—and be able to source seafood sustainably. After launching from the port of Montauk in 2012, the Dock to Dish movement quickly spread across North and Central America; and was identified last year as a breakthrough innovation by the United Nations Foundation.
