Scavenger Hunt
For Families, Meet in the Learning Center,
12:00 – 4:00 pm
Join a scavenger hunt that takes you through the KMA campus to collect natural and recycled materials for Design challenges.

Artist Workshop: Donna Sharrett
All Ages welcome, In the Righter Gallery, 1:00 – 4:00 pm
Artist Donna Sharrett will lead a workshop at the Museum combining remnants of a Norway Spruce and a basic lace stitch. Participants will create two tree mementos – one to take home and one to leave.

Donna Sharrett creates intricate assemblages sewn with a variety of traditional needlework techniques. Passed down from a family of craftswomen and fiber artists, Sharrett’s techniques instill in each piece cross-cultural references to life, death, and rebirth, addressing the shared human ability and desire to remember.
