Sarah Lawrence College Concert: Lucy Hatem ’16 with Martin Goldray, Piano—Clarinet Conversations (Part 2)

Part two of a three concert-lecture series by Lucy Hatem ’16 focusing on French clarinet music, transcriptions of music not originally written for clarinet, and 20th-century clarinet pieces. The concerts will find links between an eclectic range of pieces and highlight the distinctive aspects of playing and writing for clarinet; Martin Goldray will provide piano accompaniment. Composers to include Poulenc, Francaix, Gershwin, Clara Schumann, Bernstein, and Messiaen.
