Sarah Lawrence College Artist Lecture Series: Lucas Blalock
Artist Lucas Blalock will give a lecture discussing his work, which engages the ways that falseness or evident mechanics in photographs can bring both the picture and the pictured into sharper focus. His work has been written about in a variety of publications including The New York Times, The New Yorker, Frieze, Mouse, Aperture, Art In America, and Charlotte Cotton’s The Photograph as Contemporary Art (Thames and Hudson).
