Sanctuary Series Presents Pianist Dmitri Levkovich

The Sanctuary Series begins the 2016/2017 Season, it’s fourth dedicated to bringing exceptional keyboard performances to the heart of the historic Hamlet of South Salem, with a recital presenting Ukranian-Canadian pianist and composer Dmitri Levkovich.

Praised for “artistic sophistication far above the ordinary” (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung), Levkovich continues to captivate audiences across the globe at venues including Carnegie Hall, Theatre des Champs Elysees, the Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory and Beijing’s National Center for the Performing Arts. Also a composer, the young, virtuoso presents an ambitious program of works by Chopin, Rachmaninoff and Liszt, great composers who were also known for their virtuosity on the piano.
