“Romare Bearden: Abstraction”

“Romare Bearden: Abstraction” opens this Sunday, September 10. The exhibition features Bearden’s beautiful, lush, abstract works that preceded his well-known collages. Focusing mostly on the artist’s unknown work, produced in the 50s and early 60s, the show is comprised of exquisite, fully-abstract watercolors, oil paintings, and mixed media collages.
