RiverArts Presents Salon Sundays Monthly Open Studios Series!

RiverArts is excited to introduce Salon Sundays!

Salon Sundays is a new monthly program created in response to your desire to visit artists in the community outside of our Studio Tour weekend.

One Sunday per month, up to six artists will sign up to show their work in their studios, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Salon Sundays are inspired by the French salons founded in the 18th century as a means for new and emerging artists to gather and show their works in large numbers. Artists filled the walls, floor to ceiling, exhibiting anything and everything for the public and each other. Salons drew intellectuals, writers, poets, sculptors, painters, printmakers, supporters, and those interested in engaging with the creative community.

We hope you will take this opportunity to continue this tradition.

This first edition will feature the works of Camie Salaz and Emily Denise at Main Street Atelier (43 & 3/4 Main St., Tarrytown), as well as the work of Rosalind Schneider at her studio in Irvington (40 Cottontail Lane, Irvington, NY)
