Revival by Cara Lynch
Revival is a site-specific installation inspired by the neighborhood of Pelham, by New York based artist Cara Lynch. Created with stencils and chalk spray, Lynch places patterns of Tudor-revival style architecture beneath the feet of visitors to the center. This lace-like installation will sweep across the courtyard space, eventually fading from the elements and into our memories, embracing the ephemeral and considering history alongside the present. An opening reception will be held on September 11, 2015 from 6:30-8PM in conjunction with the only home we have exhibition opening.
