Reading Colors Your World: Art in the Park (O’Keeffe)
Join teen volunteers from the Harrison Public Library as they show kids ages 6-12 how to how to create a plein air landscape inspired by the work of Georgia O’Keeffe!
The Neuberger Museum of Art and the Harrison Public Library have partnered to present a special summer program for tweens. Reading Colors Your World is an exciting and creative collaboration that bridges art and storytelling to encourage and support children ages 6-12 as they develop a love of reading. Led by volunteer teen facilitators, sessions will be held in the library’s park on select Tuesdays in June and July. The NEU is providing the art supplies and program ideas.
This program is outdoors. Please bring a blanket to sit on the grass.
