Priyanka Tewari – “Signs: The Beginning of a Journey” – Opening Reception

Priyanka Tewari is a New York based artist. Being on a road to Self discovery, she believes that life is a mysterious pathway to the real world; a world that exists within each one of us. As an artist she draws inspiration from the uniqueness of life, the human existence, mysteries surrounding it and beyond.

She paints her experiences in life – both with the outside world and the world that resides within. She works with different media and techniques. While some paintings are heavily textured with the use of gesso, moulding paste,tissue paper; recent ones are minimalistic – painted using layering and glazing techniques in acrylics.

​Her work is a combination of art and poetry that she refers to as Experimental Art.
