One of the surest paths to personal happiness is to recapture the sense of everyday wonder we may have last felt as children. In this 45-minute presentation, haiku poet Scott Mason will show how the mindful and pleasurable practice of haiku poetry can help us reconnect with that wonder. Over the last fifteen years Scott has won more than 150 awards in international haiku competitions. His twenty-one first place finishes stand as the record for any haiku poet in the Western Hemisphere. Since 2011 he has served as an editor with the esteemed online haiku journal The Heron’s Nest. Scott is author of The Wonder Code: Discover the Way of Haiku and See the World with New Eyes (www.thewondercode.com).
