Poetry Slam with Art In The Basin at Bethany Arts Community

Join us Saturday, September 10, 2022 5-7PM for a competitive arts event in the Garden of Peace & Love at Bethany Arts Community in Ossining, NY. Enjoy beautiful nature scenes and art with contemporary poets in heated elimination rounds of spoken word.

This program is a collaboration between Bethany Arts Community and Art In The Basin, a poetry collective based in Bronx, NY.

This slam event will host 9 pre-chosen poets who will engage in 3 rounds. The first round will seek to eliminate 3 poets. The second round will have 6 poets competing to eliminate another 3 poets, which will leave 3 poets participating in the final round competing for a cash prize. We are excited to present our honorable judges who will determine our winner and present feature pieces of their published work between competitive rounds.
