Plein-Art Painting the Meadow at Jay Heritage Center
The tradition of plein-air painting at the Jay Estate goes back centuries and one of the most famous artists to capture the oak trees and stone walls of our landscape was a member of the Art Colony at Old Lyme. (Can you guess who it was?)
Come try your hand at capturing the beauty of our autumn meadow as the native grasses begin changing color. We’ll provide the easels and the view — come any time between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
