2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Did you know that nature can teach us how to work with it? Ancient farmers dowsed for water, and poisonous plants often have a curative plant right near it. Did you know that pesticides came into being after a war in Germany in the 1850’s? There was a surplus of chemicals that were introduced to the farming communities. Pesticide, herbicide and fungicide all share the same Latin root cide, which means to kill. All the toxins we spray are killing us.
In this workshop you will:
- Look at the alternative approaches to growing food, methods that connect to the consciousness of the earth.
- Explore The Findhorn experiments, The Secret Life of Plants, Rudolf Steiner’s Biodynamic techniques and Dr. Emoto’s messages from water.
- Learn to tune into the amazing community of plants, earth and insects to realize that they all think, feel, know and communicate and if we listen with openness and respect, we may learn from them.
