Photographing Dance and Live Performances

Monday, February 9, 2015
7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Stephanie Berger’s photographs are not just a documentation of theatrical productions, but connect in way that evokes the rhythm, action, and emotion of being at the performance as it unfolds to the viewer. The music stops, lights go on, the experience remains a memory but the photos return you to the live experience of the artists who created and performed the work.

She will show her work in a slide presentation and discuss the ins and outs of photographing dance and live performance as it unfolds and the particular set of technical and experiential skills to capture the work.
