Peter and the Wolf and Other Excerpts

WBC has been fortunate to grow and prosper over the past thirty-seven years under the artistic direction of Beth Fritz-Logrea and Jean Logrea. Their vision and standard of excellence, deeply rooted in the European classical tradition, has helped to expand WBC’s vibrant repertoire of classical and contemporary ballets, and to educate our young dancers at a level comparable with training generally only accessible in New York City.

WBC traditionally showcases its repertoire in performances each spring at The Performing Arts Center at Purchase College. Works include Peter and the Wolf, Pas de Quatre, Les Patineurs, La Boutique Fantasque, Les Sylphides, as well as excerpts from Coppélia, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, La Bayadère, La Sylphide, The Sleeping Beauty, and Swan Lake.
