Outdoor Concert

No need to go to the Summer Olympics in Rio to get into the Brazilian groove.  Star percussionist Nanny Assis will bring the sensational sounds of Samba, Bossa-Nova, Baiao, and Brazilian Jazz standards to New Rochelle’s BID Music on the Green for a fabulous dance party!  Named “Best Male Brazilian Performer” by 2010 Brazilian Press Awards, Nanny Assis returns to Library Green with stellar musicians and his wildly popular music so many enjoy at SOBs, Milton’s Jazz Club, the Blue Note, B.B. Kings, and other top N.Y.C. venues.

In the event of rain, the concert moves indoors to the Ossie Davis Theater of the New Rochelle Public Library, on a first-come, first-served basis to the capacity of the 138-seat theater, beginning at 6:45 pm. Call 9914) 632-8254 for weather updates, after 4 pm the day of the concert.
