Our Town Quartet

Much like the play, Our Town quartet can be considered classical in that they perform standards by noted American writers and composers; songs that lend themselves to close four-part harmony singing, a unique American art form.  They put the song above all else when they perform and that commitment is clearly apparent as they sing.

Influenced by popular quartets of the past, including the Mills Brothers and Buffalo Bills, the group strives for audiences to leave performances humming the songs they heard the quartet sing.  They also produce a sound unique within a cappella circles.

Members of the group include Larry Tully (baritone), Jamie Carbone (tenor), Scott Brannon (lead) and Terry Clarke (bass).  The quartet holds titles as the Northeastern District BHS quartet champion, and winners of the oldest a cappella competition, the prestigious Harmony Sweepstakes.  All four members have sung in some of the finest performance halls in the world including Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Center.
