OPENING RECEPTION: “Veils of Atmosphere” Watercolors by Ellen Hopkins Fountain

Oak&Oil Gallery welcomes  “Artist of the month” Ellen Hopkins Fountain!

August 5 to September 3     Opening Reception on August 17 from 5 to 8 pm       

“From veils of atmosphere, to expressive color, to darkest mystery, watercolor can convey nature in all its guises. The medium of watercolor is challenging enough that I can continue to paint my love of nature, while continuing to evolve as an artist” (Ellen Hopkins Fountain)

Ellen Hopkins Fountain is a renowned and award winning artist who finds inspiration in the vistas of the Hudson Valley and New England. The twenty-five works exhibited include landscapes, riverscapes and abstract watercolor paintings.

Opening reception, which coincides with the Katonah Art Stroll, will be held Saturday, August 17th, from 5:00 ~8:00 pm.

Refreshments, live music meet the artist. Everyone is welcome!
