NECS invites you to our monthly Spoken Word Event for young adults (ages 21-30) & teens. We’ll have a poetry writing workshop for the first half hour, after which participants will be invited to present their poetry in an open mic fashion. If anyone wishes to present another art form, we’d love that!

Third Sundays at Bethany Arts Community (40 Somerstown Rd., Ossining, NY 10562)
3:00 PM – 3:30 PM Poetry Workshop for youth and young adults.

Though workshop writing prompts will vary each month, the overarching theme will center around matters of society and NECS core values: creativity, joy, nobility, empathy, justice, and service. Since we also include youth participants, we ask that participants keep their art “clean.” Light snacks/refreshments will be available for participants.
