Tarrytown Salon Sunday

Salon Sundays is back! RiverArts  invites visitors to tour 5 Tarrytown visual artists’ studios. This is an exciting opportunity to gain insights into the creative process, learn about different artists’ techniques and interact with artists right in the village of Tarrytown.

We are thrilled to feature Monica Carrier (@monicacandoit) and Nathan Frey (@n8plaster) who are both showing at Peep Space in Tarrytown, Timothy Duch (@duchtim), Iris Jaffe (@isjaffe) and Edward Bear Miller (@edwardbearmiller) who are showing at their studios.

All five artists have participated in the RiverArts Studio Tour and we are so excited to give visitors another chance to get to know their work!

Salon Sundays are inspired by the French salons founded in the 18th century as a means for new and emerging artists to gather and show their works in large numbers. Artists filled the walls, floor to ceiling, exhibiting anything and everything for the public and each other. Salons drew intellectuals, writers, poets, sculptors, painters, printmakers, supporters, and those interested in engaging with the creative community.
