Description

We are excited to introduce a two artist’s exhibition at Oak&Oil Gallery in Katonah.                            The work will be on view from Saturday April 23 to Sunday May 8.

This exhibit will showcase new works from Linda Puiatti and Andy Hammerstein,  two renown artists with distinctive styles.

Linda Puiatti’s land and seascape oil paintings evoke a sense of peace and tranquility along with the excitement of color and dramatic lighting. Current subjects include sunset-illuminated barns, distant horizons and coastal seascapes reminiscent of Cape Cod, the Hudson River Valley and the East Coast. This exhibition will feature all the above and more, with Puiatti exploring new territories in color and composition, yet always inspired deeply by the beauty of nature.

Andy Hammerstein. We are happy to showcase Andy’s talent, energy and vibrant creations. Andy is a painter, writer, lecturer, and family historian. He has a rich heritage, being the great great grandson of the famed Broadway composer Oscar Hammerstein. His dynamic artistic ability is shown through his works of art, New York City cityscapes and nighttime car rides. Streamlined and stylized memory of the experience of highway driving, from the blur of the guardrail to glimpses of unknown roads beyond the bend.

Join us for the closing Reception, on Saturday May 7th from 2 to 4pm Enjoy some refreshments while meeting with the artists, ask them what inspires and drives them to create. We look forward to seeing you!
