Chen studied science fiction and science writing at MIT. Her credits include the sci-fi epic, Terminus, which won 2 awards at the 1999 Independent Games Festival. She wrote 5 fantasy worlds of MMO Hall of Fame inductee Wizard101. She was nominated for a Writers Guild of America Award in Videogame Writing.
