Off Center Dance Theatre’s Spring Invitational Concert

Broadway veteran Joe Antony Cavise and his Off Center Dance Theatre (OCDT) are excited to welcome special guests Izabela Marion Szylinska and Lukasz Zieba to their Spring Invitational Performance at the White Plains Performing Arts Center on Saturday March 4^th at 4:30 PM.  Ms. Szylinska has performed all over the world and is currently performing and choreographing in New York City including with acclaimed choreographer Karole Armitage.   She has also performed as a guest artist with the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet.  Ms. Szylinska has won various prizes internationally including 1st prize in the International Ballet Competition “Gold Pointe Shoes” in Poland.  Lukasz Zieba, a native of Kraków, Poland, graduated from L’Art de la Danse Cracow Dance Academy before moving to New York to study at The Ailey School on a full scholarship. He was the winner of the Best Solo Award at the Dance World Cup in Villach, Austria. Mr. Zieba also danced with The Metropolitan Opera Ballet for two seasons. Don’t miss this special engagement.

Sharing the stage with Ms. Szylinska, Mr. Zieba and OCDT this season is the Putnam Dance Center, The Pulse Performing Arts Studio and Farmington Dance and Center for the Arts. This versatile afternoon program will feature performances in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap and Hip Hop and is sure to satisfy any dance enthusiast.
