Noonday Getaway Concert
Cellist David Heiss is a member of The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and has performed with the company as cello continuo soloist in the entire cannon of Mozart operas, the production of the “The Enchanted Island” and the worldwide HD broadcast of Handel’s “Giulio Cesare”. He is principal cellist of the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall and has been featured as soloist in concertos by Irving Robbin and Theodore Antoniou at the Tanglewood Festival.
Heiss will be joined by pianist Warren Jones to perform a program of duets by Debussy, Chopin, and Brahms.
