NRPL celebrates Black History Month with a screening of SCOTT JOPLIN (1977), starring Billy Dee Williams as the legendary composer and pianist who popularized the uniquely American music art form known as ragtime during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Also starring Art Carney, Margaret Avery, Clifton Davis, and musicians Eubie Blake and Taj Mahal. 96 minutes.
