New course: Photoshop as a Tool for Painters

Photoshop is a creative and powerful tool for sketching, compositional framing, collage, and other original content creation. Students will learn to use photography, scanned images, and digital effects to push their ideas to the next level while discovering how easy it can be to explore color options, alternate compositions, and layering of imagery to produce more dynamic paintings. There will be three sessions in the computer lab, using Photoshop, but ultimately, students will transfer their ideas to the canvas in the painting studio in the last 2 sessions.
