National Picture Book Month Celebration Program
NRPL loves pictures books, so we are joining in the annual month-long celebration with weekly programs featuring local authors and illustrators of wonderful picture books…plus one very special friend! To kick-off the celebration, Anne Mottola will presents her series of books published with The New York Botanical Garden that feature engaging stories, illustrations and information all about gardens and what lives in them above and below the ground! Children’s Room. This month-long celebration is made possible by Sara and Steve Sonet, in loving memory of their mother, former NRPL children’s librarian Louise Sonet.
