Music At Asbury Presents: Three for the Show, “Rodgers & Hart . . . & Hammerstein”

Asbury-Crestwood United Methodist Church is proud to announce the fourth season of Music at Asbury, a series of free concerts held on Sunday afternoons in the sanctuary of Asbury UMC in Tuckahoe. As a program of Asbury Church, Music at Asbury has been designed to serve as a social service to the community, offering performances by some of New York City and the Hudson Valley’s finest musical artists to the general public, free of charge.

On April 29, join vocalists Ruth Chiamulera and Mark Cummings, pianist Greg Wilson, and award-winning musical theatre scholar and producer Lu Gmoser, as they take us on a journey through the career of composer Richard Rodgers, starting with his first lyricist, Lorenz Hart, and then to his work with Oscar Hammerstein II. Highlights will include songs from “Pal Joey,” “The Boys from Syracuse,” “On Your Toes,” “Oklahoma,” “Carousel,” “South Pacific,” and more!
