Murder Mystery at the Hudson River Museum

Calling all sleuths! Join us for a murder mystery event where everyone is a suspect, even you! Renowned art historian Beatrix Spinkledream is going to make a momentous announcement based on acclaimed works at the HRM, but before the announcement can be made, someone will be murdered! It is up to you to piece together the clues and unmask the murderer within your midst!

Created and led by Hudson Valley author and storyteller David Neilsen, this is a highly interactive event where guests are assigned a character in advance so that they may come in costume if they desire. Move outside of your comfort zone and experience the world of art unlike ever before! In fact, one lucky player will soon discover that they are, in fact, the guilty party and will need to cover their tracks and ensure they get away with murder. Players will need to perform tasks and gather knowledge in order to achieve goals and earn ‘money,’ which they can then use to purchase clues. You will need to interact with other players and study the art featured within the story in order to gain any idea as to the identity and motive of the killer.

Due to limited capacity, guests must register by December 6. Recommended for ages 16+.
