Moving Wheels & Heels Dance Intensive Workshop
Dance is for Everyone! Students and teachers with/without disabilities join a diverse group of dancers in a collaborative artistic experience.
Participants in this unique week-long program can learn and improve technique and range of motion and explore and express their creativity. They will join a community of students, teachers,and interns and participate in an inspiring week of dance. The faculty include: Nancy Lushington, a member of teh dance faculties at Marymount Manhattan College and Montclair State University, former soloist with Joyce Trisler Danscompany; Barbara Allegra Verlezza, Associate Professor of Dance at Kent State University, Associate Artistic Director/Education Dir. of Verlezza Dance Company, formerly Artistic Director/Education Dir of .Dancing Wheels; and Sabatino Verlezza, Artistic Dir of Verlezza Dance, adjunct dance faculty Marymount Manhattan.
