“Amelia” — A look at the life of legendary American pilot Amelia Earhart, who disappeared while flying over the Pacific Ocean in 1937 in an attempt to make a flight around the world. Join us again for a talk and Q&A with local author Paul Hicks as he discusses Amelia Earhart’s life as a local Harrison resident in the 1930s (February 24 at 1 p.m.).
Join HPL as we honor the 80th anniversary of Amelia Earhart’s last flight with library programs throughout the year, culminating in a final event this July 2017.
