MORE THAN MUSIC Faculty Concert “Folk Trails”

The second MORE THAN MUSIC Faculty Concert of the season, “Folk Trails” explores the impact of folk music on classical compositions. It will feature folk tunes that inspired great composers, and delve into how these melodies shaped their music, transformed their works, and connected them to their cultural and historical contexts.

Featuring Concorida Conservatory faculty Katherine Lerner Lee, soprano, Clare Hoffman, flute, and JiNa Kim, piano playing works by Beethoven, Brahms, and Corigliano.
