Monday Night Poetry Workshop with Alex Dimitrov via Zoom


This is a 6week class, occurring on 6 consecutive Mondays beginning February 8th, taught via Zoom. The Zoom link will be emailed at the time of registration. HVWC is lucky to have award-winning Copper Canyon poet and editor, Alex Dimitrov, teaching our students again this season. Don’t miss the opportunity to study with one of the best set of eyes in the poetry world! This class is not generative. It’s a workshop. This will be a rigorous class but you will also have fun.

This class is capped at 10 students. It will be taught via Zoom and the Zoom link will be emailed at the time of workshop registration. (Please check spam / promotions folder to ensure the link is received.) Please write to admin@writerscenter.org with any questions about this process.

Alex Dimitrov is the author of three books of poems, Love and Other Poems, which will be published by Copper Canyon Press in February of 2021, Together and by Ourselves, and Begging for It. His poems have been published in The New Yorker, the New York TimesThe Paris Review, and Poetry. He has taught writing at Princeton University, Columbia University, and New York University. Previously, he was the Senior Content Editor at the Academy of American Poets. He lives in New York City.
