Metaphor, Memory, and Creative Process

This one-day intensive will be part seminar, part workshop. The first two hours will include a discussion of metaphor, memory, and creative process. The remaining two hours will be workshop of student poems. Please bring copies of 2 of your own poems to class.
Kate Knapp Johnson, BA, MFA, Sarah Lawrence College. NCPsyA, Westchester Institute. She is the author of When Orchids Were Flowers, This Perfect Life, Wind Somewhere, and Shade, which received the Gradiva Award. She is the recipient of New York Foundation for the Arts Award.
