Memoir Writing Workshop
Are you inspired to record the transforming events of your life? Are you drawn to explore the circumstances surrounding your most vivid memories? For those with a work-in-progress or those starting fresh, this class will offer a supportive environment wherein each week you will read aloud and receive constructive feedback. Writers at all levels of accomplishment, and with projects both full-length and short-form, are welcome.

SUSAN HODARA has been teaching memoir writing workshops since 2002 and writing memoir for nearly 20 years, resulting in the publication of her work in a variety of literary journals and anthologies, and most recently, the collaborative memoir Still Here Thinking of You: A Second Chance With Our Mothers (Big Table Publishing, 2013). She is also a freelance journalist who writes about the arts for publications including the New York Times, Communication Arts, and others. She and her husband live in Mount Kisco and are the parents of two grown daughters.
