Megan Moore, mezzo-soprano, and Francesco Barfoed, piano
Megan Moore has appeared at the Metropolitan Opera, Seattle Opera and San Diego Opera, among prominent companies. Her roles include Rosina in Rossini’s “Barber of Seville” and the title toles in Rossini’s “La Cenerentola” and Massenet’s “Cendrillon.” A young artist on the rise, Danish-Italian pianist Francesco Barfoed often collaborates with singers. Barfoed and Moore won first prize in the Copenhagen Lied-Duo Competition. Both are previous winners of our YCA Performance Award. Their program will include:
