Join Harrison resident and author Lauren Leader-Chivee in a timely, participatory discussion of her book, Crossing the Thinnest Line: How Embracing Diversity – From the Office to the Oscars – Makes America Stronger.  Leader-Chivee explores what it will take for us to move from being polarized to becoming a truly inclusive and empathetic nation, both collectively and individually. At a time when a majority of Americans believe issues from race relations to gender diversity are getting worse, not better, learning to understand and embrace diversity has never been more imperative.
