Meet Award-Winning Author Linda Cardillo


Join us at the Harrison Public Library for another exciting author event. Award-winning author Linda Cardillo will be discussing her latest book, Love that Moves the Sun, an historical novel based on the profound relationship between the poet Vittoria Colonna and the artist Michelangelo Buonarroti.  There will be a Q&A session following her talk and books will be available for purchase and signing.

Linda Cardillo is the award-winning author of the critically acclaimed novels Dancing on Sunday Afternoons (2007, 2016), Across the Table (2010), The Boat House Café (2014), The Uneven Road (2016) and Island Legacy (2017), as well as novellas and children’s fiction.

She is currently at work on a trilogy set in 16th century Italy focused on a dynamic group of literary women. The first book in the series, Love That Moves the Sun, has just been released and is based on the relationship between Michelangelo Buonarroti and the poet Vittoria Colonna, the only woman he ever loved.
